A tribute to Bob...

Robert Seeley, was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 13, 1928. He died on the morning of October 15, 2024, at the age of 96, surrounded by loved ones.

One of the greatest boogie woogie piano players in the world, he could play anything from classical to novelty piano. He met, knew, or played with some of the finest musicians in the world, including Art Tatum, Meade "Lux" Lewis, Albert Ammons, Pete Johnson, Eubie Blake, Pat Flowers, Willie "The Lion" Smith, Dorothy Donegan, Joe Turner, Duke Ellington, Sippie Wallace, and Harry "The Hipster" Gibson.

He is much loved and will always be remembered.
